Exhaust & Header Wraps
 The
first step in controlling under hood temperatures is to use DEI's Exhaust Wrap.
DEI's Exhaust Wrap is designed to keep heat contained within the metal pipes of
the exhaust system. This keeps the heat expanded longer increasing the rate of
gas flow out of the engine compartment header and exhaust system pipes. Wrapping
your headers with DEI's Exhaust Wrap will reduce under hood temperatures by up
to 70% while providing additional horsepower, engine protection and passenger
comfort.
All exhaust wraps are not alike! DEI Exhaust Wrap is manufactured with a hi-temp
fiberglass composite material and then infused with a proprietary coating to
enhance heat retention and expanded durability of the exhaust wrap. DEI is the
only manufacturer to add 1/4” guidelines to the Exhaust Wrap to ensure proper
installation without the guess work.

Exhaust Insulating Wrap
The original Exhaust Insulating Wrap was developed over 12 years ago
by Thermo-Tec. Exhaust Insulating Wrap is an innovative way to
create more horsepower and reduce under-hood temperatures.
Wrapping headers maintains hotter exhaust gases that exit the system
faster through decreased density. Increased exhaust scavenging is
produced, along with lower intake temperatures. Exhaust Insulating
Wrap withstands continuous heat up to 2000°F, and contains no
asbestos.
Thermo-Tec exhaust wrap will not over-insulate a system when
properly installed due to a proprietary coating developed by
Thermo-Tec - Thermal Conduction Technology (TCT) - that conducts
heat across the wrap's surface. This coating controls heat build-up
and dissipation.

Heat Sleeves
This new silicone-coated fiberglass fire sleeving is designed to
protect wires, cables and hoses from high-temperature exposure,
liquid spills and occasional exposure to flame.
The high-quality sleeving is made in the U.S.A. from braided
fiberglass and coated with a compound silicone rubber. It is capable
of continuous protection to 500ºF and short-term exposure thru 2200ºF.
Available in two colors, silver and black; three diameters, 1/2 in.,
3/4 in. and 1 in; and three lengths, 3 ft., 10 ft. and 50 ft.

Turbo Insulating Kit
The Turbo Kit was designed to protect, improve performance, and
eliminate turbo lag of a turbo charger.
This complete kit, to contain the heat produced by a turbo, fits a
wide variety of turbines. The custom cut-to-fit kit comes with an
excessive amount of material to cover turbos from the smallest
automotive application to heavy-duty truck applications.
Two Turbo Kits are available - a four cylinder kit, and a six and
eight cylinder kit. Each kit contains a roll of Exhuast Insulating
Wrap 1 or 2 inch, 1 yard of Aluminized Heat Barrier, and a 3" X
6" piece of Exhaust Insulating Wrap. Hardware and instructions
are included.
